Growing up in poverty affects a child’s life in all areas, including education, proper nutrition, and overall health. The way that poverty affects children is different from how it affects adults, and such an impact can have a lifetime of consequences. Needy children in Hawassa, Ethiopia are trying to survive without everyday essentials like food, shelter, and education. Most parents are not able to afford these things for their children. This poverty pushes families into homelessness and forces children to beg on the street. Your support or gift creates lasting change for children in this community by providing access to food, shelter, health, and education programs.
All people are not poor–some live in poverty, and some get a chance to support those in poverty. We need to be kind to those who are in poverty. Our vision at Bright Future Children’s Foundation is to see street children come out from life on the street and become a resourceful and productive generation. Children who live in poverty need love and care. Children can be ignored and completely forgotten, but with your support and the support of our local partner, we will able to successfully provide help for needy ones.
